Downtown's Rivefront Plaza Condos at 200 P Street
Located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento, the Riverfront Plaza Condos (often referred to as 200 P Street) may not have the best river view, but what they lack in tranquil waterfront scenery they more than make up for in convenience: located just blocks from shopping at Westfield Downtown Plaza, major employment centers (many State of California offices are within 12 blocks), fine and casual dining, and public transit (buses and light rail both stop within just a few blocks).
Directly across the street from 200 P is the Crocker Art Museum, the longest continuously operating art museum in the West (it was founded in 1885). The museum is currently undergoing a 100,000-square-foot expansion scheduled to be completed in 2009 that will add a 7,000-square-foot courtyard, a 300-seat auditorium, and will more than triple the current space for the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.
Amenities
Made up of 91 units in two three-story buildings (identified by "wings" A to F) situated on a little more than a full city block, the community is both "roomy" and "cozy" at the same time. Amenities include a pool and hot tub, sauna, tennis courts, secure underground parking, controlled access, closed circuit security cameras, off-street visitor parking, and easy access to all freeways.
Community
The condos, built in the early 1980s, have an almost industrial look and feel on the outside but offer contemporary features inside, with two- and three-bedroom units ranging from just under 1000sq.ft. to nearly 2000sq.ft. in size.
The community has an active homeowner association that meets regularly.
